The project aims to solve the problem of understanding customer purchasing behaviors to improve store layouts, optimize sales strategies, and evaluate the impact of trial store layouts on sales performance.

 

Approch:

The problem was approached in two phases:

Data Preparation and Customer Analytics:

  • Analyzed transaction data to uncover customer purchasing patterns, preferences, and trends.
  • Provided commercial recommendations based on insights to refine sales and marketing strategies.

Experimentation and Uplift Testing:

  • Identified benchmark stores to serve as control groups for comparison with trial stores.
  • Tested and evaluated the impact of trial store layouts on customer sales.
  • Measured the effectiveness of layout changes by assessing uplift in sales performance.

 

Outcomes:
